2008 Ransom K-Syrah

This deep red wine has a nose redolent of black cherries and also hinting at cedar or cigar box.  The palate is rich and concentrated with a complex of sweet fruit and spice.  A firm, dry, delicious Rhone-style wine with an elegance and balance which makes it a delight to drink.  Serve with something rich and flavoursome - strong blue cheese, duck confit or a beef ragout.
